Far and Wide, 2014
Toughened glass and steel
Dimensions variable
Far and Wide was originally created as a focal point for an interdisciplinary forum at the prehistoric burial chamber of Barclodiad-y-Gawres, Anglesey on the Summer Solstice 2014. From noon until sunset Awst & Walther and an invited group of philosophers, scientists, archaeologists, dancers and musicians presented an engaging program of talks and performances reflecting on themes of future landscapes in the face of ecological imbalances and connected socio-political crises.
The sculpture is now permanently installed on the Wales Coast Path at Nant Gwrtheyrn.
